Welcome to PregnancyPal
PregnancyPal is a maternal wellness app that helps you follow your pregnancy week by week, track kicks and contractions, plan meals around your trimester, manage appointments, and stay connected with people due around the same time as you.
Pregnancy is one of the most personal seasons of your life. PregnancyPal is built to feel like a friend who already knows what you're going through — practical tools, plain-language guidance, and zero scary marketing fluff. This documentation site is the complete user guide: every feature, every option, every screen explained without jargon.
Who PregnancyPal is for
- People who are pregnant — first-time parents and people who've been here before.
- People who are trying to conceive and want to track cycles and ovulation.
- Partners, family members, and friends who want to understand what's happening this week and how to help.
- Anyone who wants a calmer alternative to noisy pregnancy apps that overwhelm with ads, paywalls, and clinical-sounding warnings.
What you can do with PregnancyPal
- Track your pregnancy week by week (1 through 42+) keyed to your last menstrual period or due date.
- Log kicks with a calm one-tap counter and review session history.
- Time contractions with one tap and export the log to share with your provider.
- Plan meals for each day, adjusted to your trimester, dietary preferences, allergies, and conditions.
- Log health vitals — blood pressure, glucose, weight, temperature, mood, and symptoms — and see them on simple charts.
- Manage appointments with reminders 24 hours ahead and PDF export for your provider.
- Join a community of people due around the same week as you, with anonymous posting for sensitive topics.
- Get reminders for everything that matters to you — opt in to exactly the ones you want.
What PregnancyPal is not
PregnancyPal is a tracking and organization companion, not a clinical product. It is:
- NOT a substitute for prenatal care. Continue every appointment your provider recommends.
- NOT able to diagnose any condition — including kick patterns, contraction patterns, blood pressure trends, or symptoms.
- NOT a replacement for medical advice. If something feels off, call your provider. The app surfaces information; medical decisions stay with you and your team.
- NOT a guarantee of any pregnancy outcome.
We say this clearly here and on every relevant feature page because honesty is the most useful feature an app like this can have.
Where you can use PregnancyPal
PregnancyPal is one product across four surfaces:
| Surface | Status | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Web | Live | pregnancypal.aoneahsan.com |
| Android | Live on Google Play | Google Play listing |
| iOS | Web app in Safari | No native iOS app — use pregnancypal.aoneahsan.com in Safari |
| Browser extension | Production | Companion extension for content access on the web |
Your data stays in sync across all surfaces. Use whichever works best for the moment.

Frequently asked questions
Is PregnancyPal free?
Yes. PregnancyPal is free for individuals. There is no premium tier, no subscription, and no paywalled features. If the app helps you and you'd like to support development, you can contribute through the support page. Support is optional and never affects what features you can use.
Is my data private?
Your account data lives in Firebase (Google Cloud) tied to your sign-in. Files you upload (like a profile photo) are stored via FilesHub. Push notifications, when you opt in, route through OneSignal. The app does not sell your data. The full data-handling policy lives in the legal section and will be expanded in a future docs batch.
Can my partner or family use PregnancyPal too?
Right now, PregnancyPal is single-account — one person per account. Sharing-friendly features (like read-only partner views) are on the roadmap but not shipped yet.
Does PregnancyPal work offline?
The Android app caches your data so you can keep logging kicks, contractions, and vitals without a connection. Logs sync automatically when you reconnect. The web app needs a connection to load and save data.
Can I export my data?
Yes. You can export your appointment list, health vitals, and other logs as a PDF for your healthcare provider. Account-level data export is also available in the Account & Settings section.
Why is this documentation site separate from the app?
The app's source code is in a private repository. This public documentation site lives at pregnancypal-docs.aoneahsan.com so anyone — users, partners, healthcare providers, search engines, AI assistants — can read about every feature without needing to install or sign in.
Who built PregnancyPal?
