Export appointments to PDF

Exporting appointments in PregnancyPal means your prenatal visits are included in the health report PDF you can generate from the Export Health Report button. The PDF is a tidy summary you can show your provider or keep for your records. It's a sharing and organization tool — not an official medical record and not a diagnosis.

Sometimes you want everything in one place to bring to a visit — your appointments, alongside the other data you've tracked. PregnancyPal's health report PDF puts it together so you can share it easily with your care team.

The PDF reflects what you've entered in the app. It's only as complete and accurate as your own logs. It doesn't add medical interpretation, and it isn't a substitute for the records your clinic keeps. Think of it as a clean handout that helps a conversation go faster — your provider still relies on their own exam, history, and tests.

What you can do with the export

  • Generate a health report PDF with the Export Health Report button.
  • Include your appointments — upcoming and past — in that report.
  • Share the PDF with your provider at a visit or by sending the file.
  • Keep a personal copy for your own records.
  • Bring your organized history to a new provider or a referral visit.

How to export your appointments

  1. Open the area with the health report: look for the Export Health Report button (available where PregnancyPal lets you generate your report — see health export PDF).
  2. Tap "Export Health Report."
  3. Let the PDF generate — it compiles your tracked data, including your appointments.
  4. Save or share the file — keep it on your device or send it to your provider.
  5. Open it before a visit so you can talk through your upcoming and past appointments together.

Examples

  • Prepping for a checkup — Before your next visit, you tap Export Health Report and bring the PDF so your provider can see your appointment history in one place.
  • Switching providers — You're moving care to a new clinic. You export the report so the new team has an organized snapshot of your appointments and tracked data.
  • Keeping your own file — You like having a record, so after each major milestone you export a fresh PDF and store it with your pregnancy notes.

Tips

  • Export shortly before a visit so the report reflects your latest appointments.
  • Review the PDF yourself first to catch anything you forgot to log.
  • Treat it as a conversation starter, not a medical document — your clinic keeps the official records.
  • Keep your appointments up to date so the export is accurate; reschedules and cancellations should be reflected first.
  • Share the file securely — it contains personal health information you entered.
  • Pair it with your other logs so your provider sees the full picture, not just appointments.

Frequently asked questions

How do appointments get into the PDF?

They're part of the health report PDF that the Export Health Report button generates. Your upcoming and past appointments are included alongside your other tracked data.

Is the PDF an official medical record?

No. It's an organized summary of what you entered in PregnancyPal. Your clinic maintains the official medical record.

Can I share the PDF with my provider?

Yes — that's its main purpose. Save the file and bring it to a visit or send it to your care team to review together.

Will the export interpret my data?

No. It presents what you logged without medical interpretation, diagnosis, or predictions. Your provider does the interpreting.

What if my appointments are out of date?

The PDF reflects what's in the app at export time. Update, reschedule, or cancel appointments first so the report is accurate.

Does exporting send anything automatically?

No. Generating the PDF doesn't send it anywhere on its own. You choose whether to save or share the file.

Where can I learn more about the full report?

See the health export PDF page for what the complete report includes and how to generate it.

Is my data safe in the exported file?

The PDF holds the personal health information you entered, so treat it like any sensitive document. Share it only with people you trust, like your provider, and store your copy somewhere private.

How often should I export a new report?

As often as is useful — many people export before each appointment or after a milestone so the report stays current. There's no limit on how many times you can generate one.

What this feature does NOT do

  • Does not create an official medical record — it's a personal summary of your entries.
  • Does not diagnose, treat, interpret, or predict anything about your pregnancy.
  • Does not auto-send the PDF to your provider — you choose to share it.
  • Does not add data you didn't log — it's only as complete as your own entries.
  • Does not replace your clinic's records or your provider's assessment.

The exported health report is a sharing and organization tool, not a medical document or diagnosis. It reflects only what you entered and is not a substitute for professional care — always review your appointments with your healthcare provider and follow their guidance.
